Welcome to our church - St Matthew's is a traditional Anglican parish in the City of Armadale  Armadale is a 45 min drive to the south-east of Perth, Western Australia. It is a parish of the Diocese of Perth in the Anglican Church of Australia. We are a Church where the word is proclaimed and the sacraments are celebrated.

Whether you have lived in Armadale your whole life, are new to the area or are just passing through you are welcome at St Matthew's.  Our church comprises of the small original brick church which is heritage listed and has now become the sanctuary, combined with an expanded modern front.

We are a multi-generational parish with all the best aspects of country parish life (including the catering) with the convenience of being on the edge of the city.  Whether you are looking for somewhere to worship on a Sunday morning, a quick cup of coffee or a place to call home we welcome you.

We are an inclusive parish community welcoming people of all ages, gender, race, colour, and sexual orientation.  If you're not currently a member of our church - we'd like to invite you to one of our Sunday and weekly services.  Please feel free to reach out and call the Priest-in-Charge.

We operate the Church Café as a functioning café, run exclusively by volunteers, as well as an outreach centre from 10am to 2:30pm, five days a week.  The Café menu can be found in our On Line Documents.  The demand to provide emergency food support from our outreach centre exceeds our resources.  We provide over 1,000 emergency food hampers per year and it would be greatly appreciated if you could help support this mission.

We hope you and your family will have a warm and spiritually uplifting experience with us as we worship together and spend time as a community at our services, events, and ministries.

Yours in Christ,     Father Jeff

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which St Matthew's is built and pay our respects to the elders.

Our mission is to be faithful to Christ and each other. Our mission is centred in Armadale and beyond – to other people and the wider needs to which God calls us.
